Colette’s story
The very hot climate in Burkina Faso makes it hard to grow food.
Colette’s daughter did not have enough vegetables to eat – so she became ill.
When Colette worked in the mine, she would often go home with nothing.
So she decided to start growing her own vegetables instead.
Her family now has lots of lovely, healthy vegetables to eat.

Colette’s family knows how important food is and they don’t waste anything.
Jesus encouraged his followers to care for people in need.
Christmas is a time for love and generosity.
