Nightlight Project

Design brief The aim of this project is to design make a nightlight that uses a cultural symbol. I will be using CAD and CAM to design and make the final product. The cultural symbol used will be decided upon by researching various symbols and their meanings.

Product Analysis How does it work? The nightlight works by electricity that is either in a battery, in the mains, solar, or maybe even wind . When it is dark, the nightlight will be either switched on, or come on when needed. It is meant to be a light that could be needed, such as : If a person is scared of the dark, trying to find your way out of your bedroom in the dark, or even, just to have so you can read a book at bedtime just before you go to bed. Product Analysis Evaluation I think that this nightlight is a very good nightlight because it has a good range of colours and looks very good in the dark. Target market I think that the target market is about all ages because it is not to funky but it is cool enough for elders and youths too. Materials used The materials used to make this product are: Plastic, Rubber, Glass and a bit of Metal
