Creating a Tally Report You can tally, or total, Answers per Question or Responses per Answer

Answers per Question Say: Will list whatever questions are chosen in a table or bar chart and count the number of times a particular answer was given; say codes are being used in place of question names and that these will be explained in a few slides This lists the number of times a particular answer was given for each question.

Responses per Answer Say: Will cross-tabulate answers from two questions; explain that 50% of East choose Good, or a similar example. This lists the number of times a particular combination of answers was chosen.

Creating a Tally Report Tally Reports can be Tables or Bar Charts

Bar Chart

Creating a Tally Report Table Reports can report raw totals or percentages. Choose from: No Percentage Percentage Overall (block/table total) Percentage By Row (block/row total) Percentage By Column (block/column total)

Percentages No percentage (raw totals) Percentage Overall Pick some blocks and compare them across the four tables to demonstrate the difference (ex. The top left block can be 1, 3.1% (1/32), 12.5% (1/8), or 20% (1/5))

Percentages Percentage By Row Percentage By Column Pick some blocks and compare them across the four tables to demonstrate the difference (ex. The top left block can be 1, 3.1% (1/32), 12.5% (1/8), or 20% (1/5))

Creating a Tally Report Bar Charts cannot display percentages. Instead, they can appear either: Side By Side Stacked

Bar Styles Side By Side Stacked

Creating a Tally Report You can display questions with their full titles or with their codes Be sure to give your report a logical name before clicking Next> For codes, refer back to slide 12 for an example
