Verbs Verbs can tell what is happening now, in the past, or in the future.
Now These verbs show action that happens now. Some verbs for now end with “s.” Some verbs for now do not end with “s.” A student looks at the exhibit. The students watch the game.
Past Verbs These verbs show action that has already happened. Most verbs in the past tense end in “ed.” The principal talked to the student.
Future Verbs These verbs show action that will happen. Add “will” to most verbs to show the future. We will enjoy the movie.

Example of Verbs in the Future Our teacher will talk to Santa.
