Problem area recap Ethiopia has over 33 public universities and these Universities in Ethiopia do not have repositories to publish research papers, Student thesis and other publications and to be visible in the national and international research community. Thus, achieving the following has been impossible Getting resources on previously conducted researches Or having information about theses with high socio economic value for Ethiopia if implemented on large scale Or checking if a title for thesis has already been published and if so how much is covered in the topic and which university it was published on Or providing citability and authorship Or visibility to the international science and research community Or having an international Digital Object Identifier for their publications Or having a repository with localized content 3

Objectives and milestones The users will be able to: Login through a federated identity provider Submit research papers, Thesis, and other publications based on the categories that will be provided for their respective institutions Search through the entire repository through a simple search interface with simple filters Search through the entire repository through Advanced search interface with Advanced filters Find similar research papers, thesis, and publications that could be useful for their own 4
