This virtual desktop is accessible via the Internet from a variety of different devices wherever network connectivity is available. Available to: Faculty, Staff, Instructional Professionals, Students Fee? Yes Service tier: One

Value Proposition Value proposition A new fully patched and updated environment provided for each session (non-persistent) Redundant across CIT data centers Customer impact Work environment available anywhere from multiple devices Security-enhanced version provides multi-factor authentication solution for access to confidential data from desktop environment Key benefits Reduced support cost over physical managed desktop/laptop Lab, course software available to students without visiting computer lab Meets technical requirements for storage and handling of confidential data as defined in Policy 5.10
