Why DO the Dutch Love COIL? Holland has a long history as a trading country International travel may be part of the Dutch DNA Fewer than 10% of Dutch university students are mobile A growing awareness of the need for Internationalization at home The English language is widely spoken amongst the Dutch But is that love?

Focus of COIL activities in Faculty of Business and Economics COIL as tool for I@H in strategic programme FBE 2015-2020 Virtual collaboration since 2008, COILing since 2014 Nr of COIL/virtual/blended projects in 2016-2017: 25 Nr of students participating in virtual projects in 2016-2017: 800-1000 Partners include: SUNY (Ulster, Oswego & Buffalo), RMIT (Melbourne & Saigon), Monterrey (Mex.), Finland, Austria, France, Germany. Spin off: Summer Programme Entrepeneurship with SUNY Ulster Other virtual collaboration networks: Beezr (European consortium)

We would like to use COIL because of: International Centre of Excellence (ICEFIL) for innovative learning: sharing and developing knowledge and learning materials with national and international partner universities Kakuma-project: teacher education program for hundreds of teachers in the Kakuma refugeecamp in Kenia. In cooperation with Vodaphone, UNHCR and MOI- university we develop digital content for the curriculum of teachers in10 several subjects
