Abby's college preferences

Personalized college profile Major I'm interested in : education and CHILD DEVELOPMENT I DON’T REALLY DO SPORTS SO I DON’T MIND TOO MUCH ON THAT I WOULDN’T WANT TO BE TOO CLOSE TO HOME EITHER (50-200 MILES) SETTING : STUDENT POPULATION: 5,000-10,000 IT JUST HAS TO HAVE WHAT IM LOOKING FOR, DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THE MAIN FOCUS ON THE COLLEGE SEMESTER/TRIMESTER: NOT IMPORTANT RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION ISNT TOO IMPORTANT BUT IT STILL HAS SOME IMPORTANCE TO IT WEATHER: NOT TOO IMPORTANT GREEK LIFE: not important Eop program: important work- study program: important

Study abroad program: not important Housing: dorms and nearby apartments Dorm setup: important Competitive gpa and test scores: important Percent of students who receive financial aid: important

What major I'm interested in: because I love working with children I figured I want to make a carrier out of it I want to be a teacher for 3rd or 2nd grade kids. Therefore I want to major in education and child development I actually have a backup major Not many people know but I love presenting things Id like to somewhat make that a career and although its hard id like to see if I can major in public speaking as well

My top 10 list my dream college : UCSC I PICKED THIS AS MY DREAM COLLEGE BECAUSE IT WAS MY FAVORITE ONE WHEN WE WERE ON THE JUNIOR TRIP. IT HAS A LOT OF WHAT IM LOOKING FOR.

REACH COLLEGES: IRVINE UC SANTA BARBRA THESE SCHOOLS ARE PPRETTY HARD TO GET INTO THEY BOTH HAVE WHAT IM LOOKING FOR

GOOD FIT UC RIVERSIDE CHAPMAN FULLERTON SAN FRANCISCO UC MERCED ALL OF THESE SCHOOLS CONTAIN THE MAJOR I WANT. THEYRE ALL PRETTY GOOD SCHOOLS AND THEY HAVE A LOT OF THE THINGS IM LOOKING FOR AS WELL

SAFE COLLEGES: SAN MARCOS SAN MARCOS IS A HUGE SCHOOL ON EDUCATION IT ISN’T A HARD SCHOOL TO GET INTO AND IF I DO GET IN TO IT I WOULD STILL BE ABLE TO FOLLOW MY CAREER CHOICE WHILE IM THERE. Chico state Chico isn’t a hard school to get into either and it has a lot of what im looking for, campus wise.

THANK YOU FOR WATCHING
