PQQ/Tender Answering the question asked. Giving yourself proper time to respond. Don’t leave submissions to the last minute. Answer the question in full; don’t refer back to answers in previous questions.
PQQ/Answering tender questions Answering tender questions effectively can involve some overlapping skills or process in different questions. Some questions can have two parts. Make sure you answer both: E.g. When do you do xxx and how do you know if xxx was a good idea? E.g. When you work with young people what do you do to aaa, bbb, ccc, ddd Some questions have bullet point. Make sure you address all the bullet points.
Common Mistakes- 1 Not answering the question-providing superfluous information. Spending significant time describing theoretical models. Copy and pasting from policies, online sources or books. Late submission. Make sure it looks professional-proof read and pay attention to spelling and grammar.
Common Mistakes – 2 Don’t tell us what you want us to know, tell us what we ask for, or anything that relates directly to the tender. Don’t assume we know you- we have to assess you on the information that you supply for an individual tender, not what we may know about you. When asked ‘how’ don’t just show a form. Step Back- Have you answered the question?
