Sport Premium-Budget announcement! The levy will be used to double the Primary PE and Sport Premium for primary schools from £160m a year to £320m from September 2017. Baroness Sue Campbell, Chair of the Youth Sport Trust, said: “Today’s news to double the investment in the primary PE and sport premium has the potential to make a transformational change in schools.

OFSTED Ready What we have achieved Next year…… Assessment designed ‘in house’ to support Real PE assessment criteria Observations of lessons and meetings to support embedding of assessment. Planning meetings with PLT’s Provided support for completion of evidencing and accountability document for school website. At transition, identified pupils with very low physical activity levels. Continue support with curriculum development (Real Gym) Further develop assessment methods across all Key stages Audit Health and Well being Provision across Partnership in order to provide holistic Health pathways Target pupil groups-to raise physical activity levels Provide guidance on use of additional Sport premium funding

Performance Pathways What we have achieved Next year……. Fulfilled planned calendar of events across Key Stage 1 & 2 Wednesday leagues in Netball, Football, Basketball, Hockey Junior Sport Academy Events(Talented and Able) 50% increase in number of schools entering ‘B’ teams in competition Additional events this year Quad kids (Yr 3&4) Sports Hall Athletics (Yr 3&4) Calendar as 2015/16 Shared knowledge of Year 6 Sports performers and Sports leaders. Information on transition to raise staff awareness on how to support them and celebrate their success. League programme to provide further opportunity to enter ‘B’ teams into leagues Proposal-U11’s Penryn Partnership combined teams to compete in County tournaments (Netball, Football, Hockey, Rugby).

Participation Pathways Next year ...... What we have achieved Saracens Basketball Academy – 80 pupils attending trials, 16 selected for HQ coaching Newly established Saracens Basketball Development Group for those not selected for Academy. Penryn Football Development Centre – 70 pupils attending trials, 45 selected for HQ coaching. Including a new Goalkeeping section. Extended Primary clubs operating from Penryn (Gym/Cheerleading/Badminton) Saturday Morning Programme Gymnastics/Dance/Football/Tennis Full holiday programme during every holiday period with inclusive programme and advertised across Partnership schools. Girls Football Week activity with the intention to boost SOS participation amongst girls. High 5 netball and Hockey starting as part of the SOS programme to replace tennis (coach left) and gymnastics (new gym opened locally) - September OAA Primary activities climbing/archery/team building/watersports (target groups) Primary Badminton restarted with new coach Increase participation from KS2 girls in Academy groups. Target 10, 2016/17

CPD What we have achieved Next year…… 4 Primary teachers at Youth Sport trust PE Conference Subject co-ordinator training modules 4,5&6 ½ day training in completing Kitemark application Real Gym training (KS 1&2) Staff training at Primary Schools (twilight session in 2 Schools) Playleader Award training and delivery (2 schools) Termly PLT meetings Youth Sport Trust membership Twilight session for staff Officiating /coaching in Netball, Football, Basketball and Hockey. Continue support with assessment and curriculum development in individual schools. Lunchtime supervisor training –Active Playgrounds. (Not achieved this year) Further opportunity for Real Gym training To provide ‘Active kids for All Inclusive PE training’ ??
