Sport Premium-Budget announcement! The levy will be used to double the Primary PE and Sport Premium for primary schools from £160m a year to £320m from September 2017. Baroness Sue Campbell, Chair of the Youth Sport Trust, said: “Today’s news to double the investment in the primary PE and sport premium has the potential to make a transformational change in schools.

League programme to provide further opportunity to enter ‘B’ teams into leagues Proposal-U11’s Penryn Partnership combined teams to compete in County tournaments (Netball, Football, Hockey, Rugby).

Participation Pathways Next year ...... What we have achieved Saracens Basketball Academy – 80 pupils attending trials, 16 selected for HQ coaching Newly established Saracens Basketball Development Group for those not selected for Academy. Penryn Football Development Centre – 70 pupils attending trials, 45 selected for HQ coaching. Including a new Goalkeeping section. Extended Primary clubs operating from Penryn (Gym/Cheerleading/Badminton) Saturday Morning Programme Gymnastics/Dance/Football/Tennis Full holiday programme during every holiday period with inclusive programme and advertised across Partnership schools. Girls Football Week activity with the intention to boost SOS participation amongst girls. High 5 netball and Hockey starting as part of the SOS programme to replace tennis (coach left) and gymnastics (new gym opened locally) - September OAA Primary activities climbing/archery/team building/watersports (target groups) Primary Badminton restarted with new coach Increase participation from KS2 girls in Academy groups.
