Register for an event directly in Slate without the event manager’s OK (this method bypasses the event capacity limit) Reschedule a student for an event managed by another office on campus Modify the registration form Modify or create event communications Anything else that you haven’t been specifically told is OK Just because you can, doesn’t mean that you should!

Manage event registrations Where do I find event registration counts? If you don’t already have a direct link, search for your event in Slate. 1. Click the Events icon and then choose Events.

Look for the event name or the date of the event (mm/dd/yyyy). When you find the event, it should read: “Registered (or Attend): Event Name (date of the event)”

Resend emails Can I resend emails to parents or students, if requested? You should only resend transactional emails, such as event confirmations or the Thanks for Applying email that contains student log-in information, that were created by your college or department. Find the student’s record. Click on the Timeline tab and then the Interactions link. Choose the email that needs to be re-sent. The email will open.
