Background AHMP is a membership organization that consists of credentialed members, professional members (non-credentialed), organizational, and affiliate members: Credentialed members have a credential accepted by AHMP CHMM, CHMP, CDGP, CDGT, CIH, CSP, etc. Professional and affiliate members are all other paid members Includes students, retired professionals and those interested in the EHS&S profession. Organizational members are companies that support AHMP and receive greater visibility and marketing opportunities

AHMP AHMP has created three guiding precepts: Vision Mission Values

AHMP Vision and Mission The premier global leader for haz mat professionals. Mission AHMP maximizes our community, voice, knowledge exchange and management support of hazardous materials professionals; making our world safer and healthier.

AHMP Today 2016 was a year of rebuilding and redefinition 2017 will be a year of transition and growth

AHMP Board of Directors The AHMP Board of Directors (BoD) consists of the Executive Committee and Directors. The BoD is responsible for strategic planning as well as overseeing the National Office and committee activities.

Ensure that chapters are partners in, and receive, premier-value delivery. Maximize internal and external “Brand” recognition.

AHMP MEMBER BENEFITS IMPROVED Chapter Relations Monthly newsletter now markets chapter’s courses, EHMM courses, news & workshops AHMP and IHMM improved data exchange provides: Chapters with AHMP member contacts and IHMM list of credentialed professionals 2nd newsletter - For the chapters by the chapters” is now sent out upon request  E-blasts - sent to remind chapters of stipend available for booth costs to attend local conferences AHMP booth - materials/shipping now handled by staff (displays, brochures, and marketing materials) Community outreach funds (CHMMunity) Assist chapters in performing beneficial service projects
