Chapter 3 Economy and Employment (NP) Create environment for sustainable employment and economic growth Promote employment in labour absorbing Industries Promote exports and competitiveness Strengthening the capacity of the government to implement its economic policy Demonstrating strategic leadership among stakeholders to mobilise around a national vision (single vision by implication references a common goal across all spheres of government). ie. common futuristic cohesive goal.
Chapter 4 Economy infrastructure – The foundation of social and economic development (EG & RR) Key Strategic Focus areas: Establish effective, safe and affordable public Infrastructure. Ensure that all South Africans have access to affordable services Make high-speed broadband internet universally available at competitive prices Priority should be given to infrastructure programmes that contribute to global & regional integration and needs
