afas Expectations of results Meta-Network/hub of networks: the OII expects that this project will be able to create a meta-network (network of networks). In order to work towards the sustainability of the K-Network Project, it is expected that this initiative will includes not only relevant stakeholders but also those hubs of networks (constituted by companies, universities and/or governments) that may be interested to participate. It is believed that this approach will be a key factor for the implementation of the European Knowledge Centre. An Open Innovation approach: OII expects that the strategies and methodologies of the K-Network Project will be aligned with the “open innovation” principles. In other words, in order to contribute to a distributed collaboration, an open and inclusive integration of ideas and the efficient flow of collective intelligence it is expected that the architecture of “open innovation” will be broadly adopted.
