Requirements and Due Dates Project 1: News Story Requirements and Due Dates

News Story - Requirements Write a story covering a local, recent event You must interview minimum of 2 people (who are directly connected with event)

News Story - Requirements Story will be 250-300 words Story will follow Caught ya rules, be objective, use inverted pyramid style, third person writing, and short paragraphs (& the other news rules we cover!)

News Story - Examples One sporting event (of one HHS team) A club elected new members, or held a fundraiser…. A group or individual went to a competition, won an award… A local event (concert) happened, and people you interview performed, ran it.. Someone got into a car accident, got married, had things happen to them…
