REGISTRATION 2017-2018 Course Selections for Juniors

Things to consider when choosing classes: Graduation Requirements College Requirements Career Goals Time Sports Part-time job Clubs, etc. Any required classes not passed?

Graduation Requirements English 8 semesters (4.0 credits) Math (algebra & geometry required) 6 semesters (3.0 credits) Science 4 semesters (2.0 credits) Social Studies 5 semesters (2.5 credits) World History 2 semesters grade 10 U.S. History 2 semesters grade 11 Government 1 semester grade 10, 11 or 12 P.E. 7 semesters (3.5 credits) Health 1 semester (0.5 credit) ComCon(computers/consumer ed.) 1 semester (0.5 credit) Driver Education 1 semester (0.0 credit) Electives 2 semesters (1.0 credit) Art, Music, Foreign Language, Vocational, Tech Ed., Business, Family & Consumer Sciences Additional classes from core and electives Total credits 22.00 Participate in State Testing

Summing it all up! Double check prerequisites for each course. Make sure you have at least 6 classes for each semester. Reschedule failed classes or plan to use credit recovery. You must qualify for honors or AP classes and have department approval. Your registration appointment time will be given to you in your TEAM room. Please share this information with your parent or guardian. Make any course selection changes before March 24, 2017.
