Hotel textile service business taken over by Comforta Oy, founded by Lindström Operations in 24 countries in Europe and Asia, strong grow continues. Carl August Lindström founds a dye business in Finland 1st international subsidiary to Estonia 1848 1992 2001 2016 1930 1997 2006 Industrial laundry service started B-to-C services divested, Lindström becomes a B-to-B textile service company Entry to Asian markets starts from Suzhou, China Expertise in the textile field since 1848 Over the course of Lindström’s history, the company has grown from a fabric dyeing house into a laundry and onwards to become a professional in textile renting. The family-owned business with a history dating back of 168 years has been among the pioneers of its field throughout the years of its operation. 22.5.2017

How To Process Textile waste? Mechanically Chemically Incineration Disposal How To Process Textile waste? Lindström is taking part in VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland’s Tekstiilien kiertotalous (Circular Economy of Textiles) project. The project tests technology developed by VTT by collecting old cotton clothes from consumers, dissolving them and processing the resulting fibre raw material into new garments.
