Council Approved Pack Overnighter Campsites Camping Council Approved Pack Overnighter Campsites Approval process - check requirements before requesting site approval Mandatory: Garbage facilities, vermin proof, serviced by managing agency Approved water source convenient locations readily accessible Sanitary toilets within 300’ of each site Emergency assistance 24 hours Public telephone reasonable distance Adequate shelter for program activities during inclement weather Optional: Clean war showers, Sufficient picnic tables Open area for games and activities Well marked easy to follow trails Playground and recreational equipment Note areas of interest, historic sites Submit Pack Overnight Site Approval Form 13-508 to Council Camping Committee
