Objective The city of Antwerp invests in more space from, for and by children, teenagers and youngsters. 1. Physical space: more playgrounds, places to party, to create things… 2. as well as mental space…: youngsters can give their opinion, advice, debate…

Preparation AEYC team located in a youth center in the city center 2010: focus on collecting commitments of external partners and engaging youngsters Kick off Database Newsletter Social media

Programme Together with many partners 11 themes: work, spare time, ecology, culture, sports… All over the city: 29 projects in the different districts Knowledge network: 18 conferences, exchanges… Events: 90 festivals, party’s, European festivals Projects: 110 projects of other city department, and youth work partners Project by youngsters: 70 projects
