** Write Due Date on course request form ** February 8th through February 17th During English Classes (Schedule posted) Students will input schedules at home. (Make sure student portal is active) Counselors will approve Course Request Worksheets and lock schedules in portal

Registration information night THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 2ND – 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Skyline 6:00 – 6:30 Rigor-The Benefits of Honors & AP Classes (cafeteria) 6:30 – 7:15 Graduation Requirements & Course Offerings Current 8th graders – Auditorium Current 9th graders – 703 in Auditorium Current 10th graders – 704 in Auditorium Current 11th graders – Media Center 6:30 – 8:00 AP, Athletic, AVID, Elective Fair – Q & A (cafeteria)

Where do I get help before the due date? Skyline Junior Registration Presentation A-Hour Options A-hour is a 7th hour of instruction * Now Free! Please select 7 classes on your form. One of your 7 classes will be offered A hour If you select an A hour class you are committed to that hour. Room most likely will not be available during the regular school day No Transportation Available

HONORS/Advanced Courses Rigorous courses open to all students Most are weighted credit upon year-long completion Must have the preparation, skill, & determination to be successful Success is earning a “C” or better Once honors courses are requested, you are committed to the course. Room most likely will not be available in regular classes.

Sports Sports (PE50) is considered a year-long program Please write PE50 for both semesters on worksheet (write in name of sport) Check sport(s) you would like to play on the bottom of your worksheet No more than one selection per semester Cheer: Select another elective that you would want in the event you don’t make cheer

EVIT Enter regular Skyline classes for all 6 classes, in the event you are not accepted to EVIT Complete EVIT application and bring with you on due date. You and your student advisor will mark the 3 electives that will be replaced with EVIT. Attach all required items to EVIT application (see EVIT application) EVIT applications were handed out during presentation…see Advisement office if you need an application

Schedule Change Policy Next year’s master schedule and school staff are determined by your course selection – CHOOSE CAREFULLY! Changes will likely not be possible Select classes based on your 4 year plan & college/career plan after graduation.

Where do I get help before the due date? Academic teachers, (Math teacher, English teacher, Social Studies teacher, Science teacher, CTE teacher, etc… Attend the Registration Info. Night- Thurs. Feb.2nd from 6-8 pm Keep your packet stapled together. Teachers & Counselors will need to see all attachments to help advise you.

New this Year! You will be entering your schedule on your Student Portal at home! Have your Worksheet complete before you start See the directions on Skyline’s WebPage under Student Advisement 2017-2018 Registration! Once entered, your classes will auto save. Bring your entire packet on the due date EVIT- enter regular Skyline classes for all 6 classes, complete EVIT application and bring with you on due date. You and I will mark the 3 electives that will be removed for EVIT. Don’t worry, if you have difficulties you will be meeting with Mrs. Leach on the due dates and can get help inputting classes in your portal then!

What You need to do! Complete your worksheet ASAP. Then log into your student portal and enter your course selections! Do the best you can! Remember if you are having difficulties, you will meet with Mrs. Leach on your due date to review and lock in your courses. At that time you can get assistance if you haven’t been successful entering in your courses. Due Dates/Pick up Schedule is posted on the Library Window Remember, you must hand in your completed worksheet form and the printout from your Student Portal with your stapled packet on the due date!
