WOMAN SELF – HELP GROUP IN THE AREA OF MULTUFUNCTIONAL FARMING 2 APPROACHES POSSIBLE Focus on: Competences Focus on: Group

FOCUS ON THE GROUP - OUR TASK OUR TASK IS NOT SIMPLY EDUCATE THE GROUP, BUT MUCH MORE – mentoring and coaching the group, oganise proper courses, workshops … to increase the employability WE HAVE TO BE FLEKSIBLE we should have the idea of what we wont to do before INVITING them – so that we can stres that in INVITATION LETTER – acording to the courses and experts that we can offer – to simplify our work WE HAVE TO FIND OUT THE COMMON GOAL, which leads to employability find out the common goal with the group and help them to achieve this goal WE HAVE TO FIND OUT COMPETENCES THEY ALREADY HAVE AND OFFER THEM SKILLS THEY STIL NEED recognise actual knowledge, define missing competences, prepare or choose educational courses needed - WE HAVE TO DEFINE THE ROLE OF EACH INDIVIDUAL IN A GROUP – (PROJECT WORK)

WOMAN SELF – HELP GROUP IN THE AREA OF MULTUFUNCTIONAL FARMING 5 STEPS: Invitation letter (advertising, informing - invitation to draw biography) Define the goal of the selected group (team work – brain storming) Selection and definition of competences of individual participant (personal biography, interwievs, situation plan – individual work – initial interview - PORTFOLIO FOR EACH PARTICIPANT) Definition of the role for each individual / training plans for members of the group in order to achieve defined group goal (team work / individual work) Project work (establishment of self help group, inclusion to the labour market, achieving the goal) in order to achieve the goal

MAIN MODULES OF TRAINING PROGRAMM Area: ENTREPRENEURSHIP Conquering economic knowledge Possible learning fields/modules: Presentation of a product or service The research and market analysis Marketing plan Organisation and staff The development of a product or service Business process Time schedule Critical risk The financial plan for the next five years Acquisition of financial assets http://www.podjetniski-portal.si/nacrtujem-podjetje/poslovni-nacrt - Business plan Development of entrepreneurial personality Possible learning fields/modules: "Psychosocial transition„ of unemployed; → change in self-image and self-esteem → change of attitude towards the world and life → change of attitude towards work → change of mood and emotion Theory of learned helplessness - prolonged inability to control major events leads → to generalized expectation that these activities can not be controlled → result of the inability to monitor your life is to reduce the mental effort to solve the problem → reduce the motivation → increase the emotional pressure (anger, fury, aggression or apathy) - HAS TO BE CHANGED – EASIER IN GROUP

MAIN MODULES OF TRAINING PROGRAMM Area: ENTREPRENEURSHIP Conquering economic knowledge Development of entrepreneurial personality

MAIN MODULES OF TRAINING PROGRAMM Area: ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROBLEM: Exit from world of work. Theory of learned helplessness - prolonged inability to control major events → leads to generalized expectation that these activities can not be controlled → result of the inability to monitor your life is to reduce the mental effort to solve the problem → that reduces the motivation → increases the emotional pressure (anger, fury, aggression or apathy)

MAIN MODULES OF TRAINING PROGRAMM Area: ENTREPRENEURSHIP WHAT WE WANT? Increase employability. → Obtain the participant's confidence → Help promote / encourage / activate the thinking and the realization of its aspirations and objectives. → Introduce activities that encourage active listening to others, a presentation of their own achievements, learn from other examples of good practice, empathy, the ability to effective time management, the ability to achieve goals …

MAIN MODULES OF TRAINING PROGRAMM Area: ENTREPRENEURSHIP With different activities we want to: → encourage a sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, which is reflected in the creativity, innovation, risk-taking ... → and is important in deciding on training, job search and the search of life chances. HOW TO ACHIEVE THIS? Proactive in a group.

Goals Developing a sense of initiative and entrepreneurship. through positive educational experience and acquired new skills and capabilities of the unemployed change the state of learned helplessness and passivity reach the belief and behavior that encourages greater control over the course of life particularly increasing the motivation to solve problems related to social exclusion and unemployment Developing a sense of initiative and entrepreneurship. PERSONAL GROWTH GETTING TO KNOW AND TO BE AWARE OF THIR OWN FUNDS AND SKILLS INCREASING SELF-CONFIDENCE PROMOTING proactivITY (projects ...) ... and maintain this even when the project ends.

Methods of work NO SAMPLE – WE HAVE TO CHOOSE COURSES PRACTICAL APROACH ACTIVE PARTICIPATION OF CANDIDATES PARTICIPANTS FIND THEIR OWN WAY WE ENCOURAGE THEM THEY KNOW THE BEST WHAT IS GOOD FOR THEM Establishment of group dynamics and secure environment. Activities are planned together with participants

WAY OF WORKING Building a good rapport, an alliance and do not operate from a position of strength Empathy and self-reflection (flexibility, adapting to different situations, not know everything ...) Establish a respectful and reciprocal relationship - the correlation - not "I know all of this and teach," but „We grow together and we are developing along the way" The purpose of feedback is learning, not classification

WAY OF WORKING Personal approach - it helps if you have a personal experience that you can share with them We believe in their potential and help them to discover their path We do not try to "fix„ them, but we believe in their potential and ability and we encourage and motivate them to achieve their goals We are open to different ways of working - "with a sparkle in our eyes„

Specific methods Interview Team work, Career Plan Setting goals (SMART) Wheel of life .... Step into the future E- portfolios, informal knowledge Outdoors, demonstration films, use of new media, project work

SETTING GOALS VISION WITHOUT ACTION = DREAM ACTION WITHOUT VISION = LOSS OF TIME VISION + ACTION = CHANGE S - specific, concrete, well-defined M - measurable A - "as if now", set in the present tense R - realistic, but ambitious T - totally positive and organic
