Benefits of Moving 90% of UConn Faculty and Staff have already moved Can see calendars across University Community Moving from 5GB to 50GB mailbox size Skype Integration Microsoft Hosted – should be more highly available No longer need to run mail servers ourselves Can add mail to personal device without requiring a PIN Outlook on your phone Library ITS will still be first point of contact for support

Office 2013 Rollout Complete for All Library Staff Mail migration is easier with 2013 More integrations with all Office365 features
Information Gathering Enumerated all zLISTs and Public Folders Worked with Library Administration to decide which ones should move over Created zLISTs in new environment Confirmed all staff have an @uconn.edu address Planned Public Folder migration Scheduled staging and cutover time with UITS

Mailbox Staging – Storrs Staff Begins Wednesday, July 29th We will copy 90% of mailboxes to new server beforehand Will make actual cutover faster – less data moved On/After Wednesday, Jul 29th Don’t move or delete mail received before July 29th Don’t edit or delete appointments created before July 29th New e-mail and appointments can be moved and deleted Backup any rules and signatures you want to move over Documentation: http://s.uconn.edu/ucloffice365
