UNIT 7: AutoCAD Layers Panel Basic Concepts with Layers Fundamental tool for all drawings Used to organize drawings Used to control the visibility of objects. (i.e., for a building you would separate the foundation, walls, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.) You can use as many layers as you want You can only create geometry on current layer. That is the layer on top Only one layer is current at a time
