Information about my school Foundation year: 1976 Number of students: 1020 (ages 6-15) 24 classes with Romanian as the mother tongue 16 classes with German as the mother tongue Number of teachers: 65 Number of classrooms: 27 Labs: 3 Research and Information Center Gym: 1 Sports field: 2 Projects and programmes: Comenius Partnerships: international(France), national and local   Our school is well-known for the performances its students achieve: - our students receive numerous prizes in school olympics and competitions -our graduates finish with high marks and are admitted in the top places of the best high schools

This year the school has improved the offer of extracurricular activities with programs for the students’ free time during the holidays.

Summer camp – with workshops – combined arts What does this project propose to children? Outdoor activities, in a pleasant and healthy environment. Workshops – creative communication through combined arts: music, movement, visual arts (painting, photo, collage). Where? In Cirta village ( 45 km from Sibiu)

How this project contributed to improve the education quality in our school? Creating a curriculum to the request of beneficiaries Finding some extern partners: a school, a pension, a congregation. Communication with the parents who financed this project. Implementation of this developed curriculum, valuating the chosen context. Dissemination the project’s results in the local community (local papers, in the Romanian and German language) Creating a curriculum based on the children’s interests in their free time(summer holiday) Interdisciplinary approach of the educative process A new vision regarding the relation teacher-student. Developed curriculum with the possibility of extending it to other classes Curriculum context Curriculum
