ELECTROMAGNETİC WAVE THEORY INTERNATIONAL BURCH UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT of ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING ELECTROMAGNETİC WAVE THEORY 2011-2012 Spring Term Prof: Moamer Hasanovic Assist: Emina Alickovic mhasanovic@ibu.edu.ba, ealickovic@ibu.edu.ba

Timetable and office hours Class Schedule: Thursday 11:00-13:45 Tutorials: Thursday 14:00-15:45 Office Hour: Open Door Policy

Course Objectives To teach fundamental concepts of electromagnetic wave propagation in various environments including guided waves and free space propagation. The instructor and participants will discuss antennas, waveguides and other devices that use electromagnetic waves to transfer information. Finally, specific simulation tools used to model and simulate electromagnetic devices will be introduced and practiced.
