ARROWHEAD AT VAIL ASSOCIATION Town Hall Meeting September 1, 2017 Welcome Homeowners!

ARROWHEAD AT VAIL   VISION: Building upon a heritage of community and quality of life, together we create an environment that ensures Arrowhead is the Vail Valley’s most desirable, private residence.

ARROWHEAD AT VAIL MISSION: In Arrowhead, we are committed to assuring homeowners a strong sense of community, a high quality of life, and a beautiful, contemporary, safe, fun living environment. Guided by our principles, we strive to achieve standards in which all homeowners are proud. This is possible through consistent community engagement.

ARROWHEAD AT VAIL GUIDING PRINCIPLES: We are a welcoming community. We continuously enhance our sense of pride in community. We pursue initiatives for the benefit of the entire community and discourage special interests. We encourage an active, healthy, fun, family-friendly lifestyle. Based on research, we are a skiing and golfing community. We also enjoy hiking, biking, tennis and fishing.

ARROWHEAD AT VAIL GUIDING PRINCIPLES: We ensure cooperation between all Arrowhead stakeholders including homeowners, AVA, Arrowhead Metro District, Country Club of the Rockies, the Alpine Club, and Vail Resorts. This includes creating, funding, and sharing assets. Enlisting outside expertise in architecture and landscape design, along with qualified community Design Review Committee members, we strive to be “best in class” in the Vail Valley.  

AVA ACCOMPLISHMENTS – LAST FIVE YEARS   SECURITY: Substantial upgrade to security camera system Greater resolution and ability to read license plates Cameras added at the Alpine Club skier drop-off, bus stop, and skier parking lot Larger video monitors with higher resolution and more storage capacity

ACCOMPLISHMENTS – LAST FIVE YEARS SECURITY: New entrance fobs, lime green stickers, and augmented access control process Hang tags for non-homeowners Improvements to gate systems Vail Resorts Public Safety management of the skier parking lot

ACCOMPLISHMENTS – LAST FIVE YEARS TRANSPORATION: Weekly shuttle to Vail during ski season More than 3.6 miles of road resurfaced in last three years Added 14 homeowner parking spots

AVA ACCOMPLISHMENTS – LAST FIVE YEARS TRAILS: Cherokee trail with activity stations Navaho Trail for children with activity stations Golf course snow shoe and cross-country ski trails PLAYGROUND: Added equipment, a platform, and restrooms

AVA ACCOMPLISHMENTS – LAST FIVE YEARS BEAUTIFICATION: Landscaping at the base of the Arrowbahn lift Removed brush and set boulders for seating along the creek Removed overgrown trees and shrubs in front of the main entrance Program to waive fees for removal of Cottonwood and Crabapple trees Upgraded irrigation by connecting with CCR’s system

AVA ACCOMPLISHMENTS – LAST FIVE YEARS SOCIAL ACTIVITIES: Movie nights Wine and Cheese, and Après ski events in cooperation with the Alpine Club Labor Day Event Games and equipment at base of chairlift for kids of all ages

AVA ACCOMPLISHMENTS – LAST FIVE YEARS TENNIS: Har-Tru Tennis Courts Managed by Cliff Drysdale Tennis Remodeled pro shop Newly remodeled tennis pavilion, grass area, enhanced hardscape Drinking fountain/bottle filling station Kids Summer Camp

ACCOMPLISHMENTS – LAST FIVE YEARS TENNIS: Hard Courts on Aspen Meadow Drive Resurfaced New restrooms Covered patio with tables and chairs Striped for pickle ball Nets and pickle ball equipment at the courts Thursday pickle ball clinic and Sunday choose-up

AVA ACCOMPLISHMENTS – LAST FIVE YEARS OTHER:   Enhanced communication with homeowners Redesigned website (www.arrowheadatvail.net) Town Hall meetings Increased email communication Greater cooperation between all Arrowhead entities
