A 2 to 3 Days Presentation of ALL Art Major Levels to be held at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Theme of the Event: PNOY ako! Rationale: Pride of the New and Outstanding Youth Instead of confining the talents of this young artists at the top of Makiling and limit the numerous people who may witness the GOD given brilliance. We should present with PRIDE what PHSA have developed from our children. Just let the place Makiling keep its mystery. Our children should learn the VALUE of INSPIRING other “gifted” young individuals who might not even heard of such a school like PHSA. And also give PRIDE to the people supporting PHSA for many years now. They are more than an artist/s. They are GOD’S Ambassador in the modern world of artistry. And we, as parents must help fulfill their mission!

-for school library (reference materials, audio & video….etc) Objective Of The Event: 1. Showcase young talents (the future national treasure) -to Psychologically & emotionally uplift the morale of all Artists, teachers, faculty and most specially PHSA in general. -bring PRIDE, HONOR & RESPECT for PHSA 2. MARKETING tool -What is PHSA all about? -Achievements? 3. INSPIRATION -Encourage aspiring young & gifted children to audition. -to be the top choice High School in “honing” artistically gifted young individuals 4. Fund Raising Campaign -improvement of website and other marketing materials -for school library (reference materials, audio & video….etc) -budget for local / international exposures like competitions, exchange student program, performances, workshops….etc

Audience Of The Event: 1. Government Officials -President, VP, Senators, Congressmen, Mayors….etc 2. Private Sectors -courtesy of Father Caluag or any parents with connections -Company sponsorship (e.g. Smart, San Miguel, Meralco…etc) 3. Schools -Private / Public Elementary School (Primary) -Colleges (secondary) -Art Schools (e.g. ballet) 4. Media -ABS-CBN (is it ok Fr. Caluag?) : ) -again this is open to all parents with connections 5. Parents, relatives & friends

Program Ideas: 1. Talent Showcase -Exhibit at the main lobby hall Visual Arts & Creative Writing Museum of works -Performances of various art majors Theatre Arts, Folk Dance, Music, Ballet -Grand Finale Presentation Collaborative performance of all art majors 2. Awards / Recognition -Alumni who have excelled in their Art field (e.g. Candice Adea – Silver Medalist in recent World Ballet Competition) -”Author of PHSA” Madam Imelda R. Marcos 3. Gift to Mr. Pnoy Aquino -Mural, sculptor or any memorabilia done by ALL Art Majors

Solicitation for the Event: If you are all welcome to the idea, we can discuss how much we can contribute for the PNOY AKO event that will cover the following: 1. Rental of CCP 2. Production (lighting/sounds/stage…etc) 3. Costume (if still needed) 4. Printing of invites, program 5. Souvenir Items (T-Shirts or any thing memorable) And other things that will be relevant and useful to the event. Schedule of the Event: I was told by Mrs. Linton Barangan that there is an annual Artist Day held at the Makiling NAC every February. 6 months of preparation is enough breather if we push for that date.
