SVC Bulletin for DVM PLUS 2 & 3 [The margin of Oil in the Compressor] 2009. 04. 17 SAMSUNG Electronics

When refill oil into the system. Margin of Oil in the Comp When refill oil into the system. Model ■ The module of DVM Plus 2, DVM Plus 3, and DVM Plus 3 HR outdoor unit when more then 2 outdoor units are assembled as one modular system Reason To enhance the reliability of the compressor at the severe heating condition No problem

Additional amount of oil Margin of Oil in the Comp Compatibility of oil 1 MOBIL EAL ARCTIC 22CC (Filed supply) 2 UNIQEMA EMKARATE RL 32 CF (Field supply) Additional amount of oil More oil into the system 500 cc / each compressor Example EX) 34HP system (14HP+10HP+10HP) All comps : 3 comps from 14HP+ 2comps from 10HP and 2comps from 10HP It needs to be charged about 3.500 cc (7 comps * 500CC) of oil into the system ADDITIONALLY

Process of Oil Charging Step by Step (2) Purge 2 points like pictures. (3) Open VA1 and then Vacuum Oil charger. You have to vacuum at least 1 min. VA1

Process of Oil Charging Step by Step (4) Open VA2. You have to vacuum continuously. And Put the Oil into Oil charger like picture. At this time, you have to vacuum putting oil, so you can put oil easily. VA2

Process of Oil Charging Step by Step (5) Close VA2. You have to vacuum at least 10 min more. VA2 (6) Close VA1 and then Turn Vacuum pump off. VA1

Process of Oil Charging Step by Step (7) Turn Unit on with Test mode (cooling/Heating) ■ DVM PLUS 2 : Press button 2 times K1 K2 Cooling Mode Heating Mode ■ DVM PLUS 3 : Press button 2 times K2 K1 Cooling Mode Heating Mode

Process of Oil Charging Step by Step (8) Open VA3 after 10 min, and then Open VA4. VA3 VA4 (9) Check charging oil through the Sight glass. When you see bubble through the Sight glass, then Close VA3 and then Close VA4 after at least 1 min

Process of Oil Charging Step by Step (10) Turn Unit off after 5 min. DVM PLUS 2 DVM PLUS 3 (11) Remove remain oil inside Oil charger like picture.
