Pathological case A case of macular edema

Characteristics of the child The child is showing a lot of maturity for his age. He behaves like a grown up person. He is a very responsible and an adjustable child. He has a good control over his emotions. he loves collecting all sorts of things ‘garbage collector’ and loves to lock things. He takes charge of the situation in his parents absence

Clincher to the remedy Structured and disciplined child. Responsible and grown up like an adult. Garbage collector. Controlled emotions. The urge to protect his brother and take over situations when required. Weak eyesight.

Remedy The child was administered the remedy Niccolum Sulph in suitable doses over a period of one year, and when rechecked the results showed a decrease in the size of the macular cyst which correlates well with the reduction in the hypermetropia of approximately +2 in each eye proving the efficacy of homoeopathic medicines in pathological cases.
