As we read… , create a list of plot events that are important. Page 225—circle the words that create the setting. Underline the character that is introduced. Who is Bess? Who is Tim? What conflict can you predict? How does the rhythm in lines 37-42 create suspense? Where is the shift in mood in the poem? Why is this significant?
