Spica Tempature:25,500 Fahrenheit it is 2300 times brighter than our sun, brightest star in the constellation Virgo Color: bluish-white star Distance from our sun in light years:275 light years away from our solar system. Spica is a blue giant.

Spica on an H-R As you can see Spica is located in the spectral class of B1 because it’s temperature is not the hottest, but, is located toward the hotter temperatured stars.

Life cycle Spica would accrete, then join the main sequence. After a short period of Spica’s life, Spica will leave the main sequence. After it will grow in brightness and size, and make a trip back along the horizontal branch before, Spica will finally end up a black whole, after it’s supernova.
