The Shelf Strip The Result: Altered the construction of an existing product to best match the performance required for the application. Resulting product was cheaper than the standard product it replaced and performed better than the competition even at 1/3 less coverage.

Adchem developed new tests to simulate the application, screened numerous products against the competitors, provided written report with pictures, as well as a video demonstrating the products under stress.

The Vinyl Flooring The Competitor It was discovered that tiles laminated with Comp C, by the customer, demonstrated adhesive pick-off when the liner was removed. This, of course, was brought to the customer’s attention in the report.

The Baby Bath The Application Bonding thin polyethylene foam inside baby bath tub. Customer wanted a product with the same “softness” as the incumbent product. Bond must withstand stresses associated with a baby bath mat.

The Baby Bath The Report After basic product breakdown and comparisons, new tests were devised to distinguish the products. Warm water immersion peels were conducted, demonstrating the drop off in strength of the Comp. These were charted as a visual aid.
