Choosing Where to Search From the “Location” drop-down menu, you can select to search the Keicher Elementary School Library collection or the Michigan Center Schools Library System which would search both the Keicher AND the Jr/Sr High collections

Destiny Quest Similar Info, pretty/graphical format Biggest “New” thing here is the “New Arrivals!” that lists the 5 most recent books added to the collection (we get new books every month throughout the year)

Login Students can login with both Destiny Quest and the traditional search window Username and password are the same as logging into the MC network computers

Options change when you’re logged in…. You can have it held for you

You can request books from the other library…

You can create a list of books you want to read In Destiny Quest You can create a list of books you want to read

You can look at lists that others have created

…and if you click on a book title and then “Reviews” You can “Review” that title by choosing the number of stars you would give it

If you click on shelf browse You can look through the books that should be nearby (on the shelf) the one you pulled up

The system will also recommend other books that are similar to what you are looking at So searching for books you’ve read that you liked is a great idea to find other, similar books to read

Another way to find similar books is…. Clicking on the subject headings (Under Explore!) to find other books with the same subjects

One other way to search for new books is to… Scroll down and click on one of the literary prize lists to see which books we have that have won awards
