CMAQ (Congestion Mitigation & Air Quality) Funding for Natural Gas Projects Commonwealth of Kentucky Office of the Governor          -$2.32 million to Louisville-Jefferson County Metro Government and Kentuckiana Cleanfuel, which formed a public-private partnership to construct three fast-fill Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling stations.          - $384,000 to Louisville-Jefferson County Metro Government to replace two diesel garbage packer trucks with CNG-powered trucks.           -$300,000 to Louisville-Jefferson County Metro Government and M & M Cartage Co., which formed a public-private partnership to replace five diesel trucks with new CNG-powered trucks. 

CMAQ (Congestion Mitigation & Air Quality) Funding for Natural Gas Projects Commonwealth of Kentucky Office of the Governor          $1.25 million in Congestion Mitigation funds to Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government The funding will help the local government construct a compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station for vehicles powered by the cleaner-burning fuel.

Policy House Bill 212 – An Act Related to Clean and Alternative Transportation Fuels Legislation qualified natural gas refueling stations for the Incentives for Energy Independence Act (IEIA). Tax credits available for 5 projects which can total up to 50% of the project’s capital investment. Four projects for compressed natural gas refueling stations have been approved: 2 projects for Kentuckiana Cleanfuel and M & M Cartage, 1 project for Delta Natural Gas, 1 project for CRS Clean Fuel. 103 KAR 43:330. Measurement of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Gallons Filed April 14, 2014 – Now: Regulation Amendment Going Through Process Purpose – Tax Equalization Establishes official measure of compressed natural gas pounds to gallons for the purpose of taxation.
