How to get from airports to Moscow SHiP summer meeting in 2018 VKO DME SVO How to get from airports to Moscow There are 3 international airports in Moscow: Sheremetyevo (SVO), Domodedovo (DME), Vnukovo (VKO).  All are connected to the Moscow metro system by express trains (Aeroexpress): about 40 minutes, 9 euro. Of course, taxi or car rent are also possible (but not advised to novices due to heavy Moscow traffic). Moscow metro is one of the largest in the world (> 3 bln passengers per year) but easy to navigate, most of the information is doubled in English. Operation hours: 05:45am - 1:00am, entrance payment (about 1 euro) valid for all the city (no pay zones).
