Making questions In order to know how to make questions, first we need to check the two most common type of questions: Closed questions: Example: A. Do you like Chile? B. No / Yes. Open questions: Example: A. Why do you like Chile? B. Well, I do like Chile because it has a nice weather and … Q: What’s the difference between them?

Closed Questions Normally, when we make closed questions we use a common word or auxiliary depending on the tense. Check and compare: Do you like football? Does she eat meat? Did you lose your wallet last night? Did they call you for the job? They all request for concrete information, normally – yes / - no answers

Q: Can you make a question with each of them? Open Questions In the case of open questions, we need more than the auxiliary verb. This type of question uses wh – questions and more in order to look for specific information. What Where Who Why How Q: Can you make a question with each of them?

Q: Can you make up a formula for making questions properly? Questions’ order She is running away from a dog? Is she running away from a dog? I live in Santiago. Do you live in Santiago? Javier played football last night. Did Javier play football last night? Question + Subject + Verb + ROS Word
