BIOME CLIMATIC ZONE Mediterranean forests are characterized by dry, hot summers and cold, rainy winters. They have a temperate climate, because they are very close to the sea and the humidity raises the temperature of the air, causing that the temperatures becomes hotter during the day and that the temperatures becomes colder during the night.

LOCATION MEDITERRANEAN SEA The latitude is between 30 and 40 degrees between the tropics and polar circles. CALIFORNIA CHILE SOUTH-WEST AUSTRALIA CAPE TOWN

CLIMATE CONDITIONS The temperatures are extremely hot in summers, around 40 degrees. And extremely cold in winters, around 5 degrees or less. During summer the rainfall is impossible because the air is very dry, and during winter it rains a lot because there is a lot of humidity that condenses the air and provokes the different metereological phenomena.

CONCLUSIONS The conclusions or the things that we learned making this proyect about the mediterranean forests are the following: New fauna and flora that we can found in this area. More parts in the world where we can found this type of biome.
