Evacuate Know your exit points. Don’t worry about locking up equipment and sensitive information. Break windows if necessary (top corner or where possible). Move to rally point. Keep hands visible and follow law enforcement commands. http://www.bhc.edu/about-us/hours-locations/

Evacuate Only 2% of Violent Intruder events have been by more than one person. If he is inside, you get outside. Cannot use car to evacuate. Reunification points established.

Evacuate If you encounter a police officer: Make sure your hands are empty and visible to the officer. Do what you are told without hesitation. Do not argue or ask questions. Give direct answers to any questions the officer asks.

Evacuate At a BHC location? Where are the room exits? Where are the building exits? Where could you go? Why? Ask yourself, “What if” questions. Example: What if the intruder was…?
