The great gatsby, chapters 5 & 6 Small Group Character Analysis Homework: Rewriting The Great Gatsby Narrate a scene from the first six chapters of The Great Gatsby as a character other than Nick Carraway. Be sure to use the vernacular and voice established for that character. Be creative, and really try to imagine how a shift in point of view could change how the story is told. (due Friday) Read chapters 7 & 8 for Wednesday

Group one - Tom buchanan How does Tom’s physical appearance relate to his emotional and psychological nature? (6-7) What is the source and basis of Tom’s racist remarks?
