FIRST INTELLIGENT BUILDING PLANNED IN ESTONIA, RAKVERE Rakvere is currently developing an idea of so called Smart House in Rakvere. The existing building to be developed into a Smart House with smart solutions providing and guaranteeing energy efficiency in old buildings dates back to year 1935. The house is 1900 m² large. Within the current project Rakvere intends to develop measures and concepts how to accomplish energy saving in an old building. Moreover, Rakvere plans to create a test-environment that enables to test the technologies that provide energy efficiency and saving.
