Habitat Blue eyed black lemurs live in Madagascar. They live in tropical moist climates. But deforestation is making them live on the ground. They are arboreal which means they live in trees.

Diet Nectar/pollen Farmers’ crops Tropical fruits Blue eyed black lemurs eat nectar, pollen, tropical fruits and farmers crops. Their large variety of food is being cut down. With deforestation food is becoming scarce. If we don’t stop cutting down trees they will die.

Predators Caracal Harpy eagle Fossa The blue eyed black lemurs are terribly hunted by Fossas. They can climb trees which is the blue eyed black lemurs only defense. Harpy Eagles are another predator of the blue eyed black lemur. The Harpy Eagle is a bigger threat because they have they height of the sky as an advantage. They can swoop down and grab the poor little defenseless blue eyed black lemurs with their colossal talons. The last predator of the lemur is the Caracul. They have crazy speed and razor sharp teeth and they have good crouching to stalk their prey.

Fun Facts - They rarely reproduce. They have two cubs in their life. - Blue Eyed Black Lemurs are arboreal (that means lives in trees). - They rarely reproduce.
