Presentation transcript:

CAFOD and SVP CAFOD respects Dignity CAFOD loves thy neighbour CAFOD respects the human rights of everyone. In wars/disasters it makes sure people are buried with dignity – prayers said before burial. CAFOD helps Catholics help neighbours across the world. People can fundraise, aid and work with people in the most in need countries across the globe e.g. Syria. CAFOD teaches people in the 3rd world how to be good stewards. It tries to install solar power, wave power and wind power sources of energy for people living in the developing world. CAFOD respects Dignity CAFOD loves thy neighbour CAFOD respects creation CAFOD and SVP SVP respects creation SVP respects Dignity SVP loves thy neighbour SVP aim to care for those in most need who often feel lonely, isolated or vulnerable such as the sick, elderly, widowed, the poor, ex-criminals, the homeless etc. SVP encourage people in the local parish communities to get involved in local conservation by organising environmental clean up events. SVP gives food, blankets, clothes, shelter, aid to those who need it most. No matter who their neighbour is.
