My web page has several resources that may be helpful: GPHS PE Resources Class page with a class calendar TEENS on the MOVE info and link Community Resource Assessment materials General Announcements

Class calendars are found on each Class Page. More details about each day can be found on the separate “Daily Plans” page

GPHS PE Resources: Study Information Grading Rubrics Study Games Syllabi TEENS on the MOVE! link

TEENS on the MOVE! * Developed by GPHS PE department to motivate and reward students for consistent daily exercise. * Students are encouraged to exercise EVERY DAY and log it in from home or at school. * Students can win a t-shirt (also can be used for PE), a class trip, a 2 month family membership to Club Northwest, and potentially other rewards.

Community Resources Assessment Explanation can be found on the Community Resources Link Objective: For students to learn about the sport and exercise opportunities available in our community – outside of school (What can you do to be active, once you are no longer at school with sport teams and PE classes?) Students are to workout/participate at least 5 times during the semester, on their own or with friends or family. Examples include playing basketball or tennis at the park, going for a bike ride - run- or power walk, going for a hike, finding and using a link for an Ab workout on line, using a YMCA pass (donated by the YMCA and available from Mrs. Dungey) to try out activities that the YMCA offers, etc. The more variety of activities and locations, the higher the assessment score. School related (on and off season) sports do not count for this because the objective is to learn what is available when a person no longer has school sports available. A parent signature is required to verify the participation. Forms are available from Mrs. Dungey and on the Community Resources info link. Community Resource workouts are all eligible for TEENS on the MOVE! minutes.
