Tips for poster design.... Use……. Large, clear sub-headings which may add to explanation Logical order is essential eg go for ‘flow’ Illustrations should be large, clear, relevant Few colours - white behind text with good contrast between background colour and text. Link colour to topic if possible A4 ONLY pages should either be landscape or portrait but NOT a mixture
Text on posters.... Type content using font size 18 or above Use short sentences Always bullet points Avoid long paragraphs Use bold to emphasize Spell and grammar check must be done
Photos, designs and graphs on posters…………. Photos should have been taken by the participant but if not should have the URL below each photo Prototype designs should be clearly drawn Graphs must have axes titles and a descriptive title
