Appraisal done well is a key tool for improving schools, through working on the development and performance of each person within it. Ofsted look at how well we do this. Look at egs of review docs. This is a key tool in your responsibility to improve Q of T This is the time for those courageous conversations JJ talked about. Need to prepare well for these. However closely you work with your team, if a conversation needs to be had, have to have it, fairly. Lots to go through; stop me and ask if it’s unclear.
