GENERAL ADVERTISING GUIDELINES AutoScout24 – Advertise on Europe`s biggest car market AutoScout24 is a well-known and trusted brand, which must be considered and respected by our advertising partners. Whilst being open for new creative ideas, we also need to ensure that the advertisements are appropriate to the general audience nature of the homepage and reflect and complement our content and branding. In particular, display advertising must not: Impact the performance of AutoScout24 / Create conflicting messages with the AutoScout24 brand Launch an ad in a new browser window (pop up/pop under) or shake the browser window. Link to websites that compete with AutoScout24. Contain offensive or degrading contents. Include unexpected or misleading functionality. Install, copy or download programs.

DISPLAY GUIDELINES Here is some guidence for what makes a great performing creative The logo must not be shown in the end frame of any animation. Design Photos and images Choose one call to action in the rich media are and ensure that it is not bigger than our call to actions. Use high-quality professional imagery. Content Don’t use any AutoScout24 elements in your design. Use a simple focused message. The Legal Disclaimer must not be longer then 2 lines and font size must not be bigger than 10 pt. Please save our brand perception and don`t use any disruptive elements around our logo and the search box. Colors should be chosen not to conflict with our color hierarchy – especially the Scout24 orange and blue. Logo The advertiser logo must not be the dominant visual element within the ad. Make sure the background of your creative is not white. We need to have contrast with the other parts of our site. Use a maximum of two logos – not bigger than the AutoScout24 logo – one logo in the Brand Box and one on the Fireplace area.

DISPLAY GUIDELINES Animation Animation must not be placed in the Brand Box under the following conditions it is allowed in the Fireplace area: Maximum animation time allowed (not including video): 30 seconds max. Actions should be triggered by the user (on rollover or on click). Sound can only be integrated with user interaction. Tipps Ideally the creative will draw the users eye to the quick search form. Too many elements (logo, call to action, image etc.) will make the creative harder to digest for the user. Four is what we would suggest. Keeping elements grouped together will focus the users attention. Make sure all copy is at a readable size.

DELIVERY Submit final creative at least 5 working days before the booked live date. This allows us to check and QA the creative. All parties must agree final signoff on creative at least 48 hours before the booked live date. Failure to meet specifications or lead times may delay your campaign.
