University of Bristol leadership model The characteristics of good leadership: Vision – guides the team to a clearly defined vision of the future Decision making – makes and implements good quality decisions Communication – ensures good 360˚ communication, is clearly understood and listens perceptively Action – personally responsible for making things happen
