Christians today The fact that this trial was so unfair encourages Christians to make sure that modern trials are just Jesus directly says that he is the Son of God and Son of Man. This also shows us that he is the Messiah The fact that the trial was unfair and illegal shows us that Jesus was innocent The trial breaks down and they only convict because Jesus deliberately says that he is the Messiah- he is in control
