"An absolutely phenomenal and life changing experience with so much to help me and put me in good stead for the rest of my life. I am stronger than I initially believed and I would never have known if I hadn't done what I have done on this expedition. I have loved being around new people, in a new culture and a new country. I have overcome some fears I have including partial social anxiety"  "I was reluctant at first to involve myself, however I feel I have increased my ability to work well in a team by trying to get to know the people I don't know. I am aware that sometimes I come across as overly confident, I'm actually fairly opposite to this with people. I feel like I have developed my confidence in a way that allows me to accept other people's mind-sets and remain happy within a group. I have also learnt how to help others as opposed to getting frustrated. My expedition experience has encouraged me to further appreciate the life I live and has inspired me to travel through Asia"

Parental Forum Are you aware of the Parental Forum at Tomlinscote School? The Tomlinscote School Parental Forum is keen to swell the number of parents attending its meetings to help broaden views and ideas on numerous topics pertinent to the school, and ensure we, as parents, have a voice in the process of decision making. Were you aware you can just come along to the Forums, no invitation is required? The Parental Forum meets approximately 3 times a year to discuss school topics and issues. It is a way of getting parents more involved in the school community. For further information, please see the school website.
