Genesis SCALE-BANTM equipment has been developed by years of hard researches & trials and in commercial production since 1999. The technology is proven and well tested. The references of its successful running in more than 200 industries and applications have been established. “SCALE-BANTM is an online non chemical water treatment equipment which gives excellent water savings beside total prevention of scaling in heat exchangers in cooling water systems.”

Problems & Concerns Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Conventional systems like RO, Multi Effect Evaporator (MEE), Incineration Boiler and CPU are having high Capex & Opex besides cumbersome operations requiring frequent stopagges.

Available methods for ZLD RO MEE CPU – Condensate Polishing Unit Incineration Boiler Conventional SCALE-BAN Non-Chemical Static Mechanical Equipment

Limitations of Conventional Systems for achieving ZLD RO PLANT Heavy Capital investment. RO Reject is generated around 40%. High operational cost and replacement of membrane is required in every 2-3 years. Trained man power required for operations. MEE PLANT High Capital investment and daily operational cost of power and steam. Regular CIP is required. Difficult to achieve 100% efficiency. INCINERATION BOILER Very High capex and opex. Operational Problems. CPU High capex and Opex. Difficult to establish results.

Operations with SCALEBAN Direct use of BMSW in cooling tower as make up water instead of fresh water. Using cooling tower as an evaporator. Low Capex. Zero Opex. Zero scale is guaranteed for 20 years in condensers and heat exchangers. Reduction in blow down from cooling tower by more than 80-90% which would be used for bio composting process. No generation of process condensate, thereby no requirement of CPU.
